Battling Jason Bright was the "best race" of his V8 life according to defending champion James Courtney who just beat the Team BOC driver to the line in Abu Dhabi.
The chaotic race, which was interrupted twice by the safety car, eventually came down to a thrilling battle between the pair over the closing laps. Brighty snatched the lead several times but had no tyre life after a string of sensational passes on the way up from 7th on the grid.
Team-mate Jason Bargwanna got turned around for the third time this weekend but showed the car's potential by setting the fastest lap of the race and eventually finishing 12th.

Team BOC will be back in action at the Clipsal 500 from March 17-20.
Jason Bright - Team BOC #08
"In today's race the car was magic and I'm sure we can go after a championship this year.
You definitely use your tyres passing cars and firing it down the inside of people under brakes! I thought we'd be able to pull away from Courtney once we were past but we never got the chance to take our own racing line because we were side-by-side the whole time. It was something I really enjoyed. The racing was awesome, I don't think we touched once."
Jason Bargwanna - Team BOC #14
"The thing this race proved to us is that, even though things didn't go our way, we've definitely got the race pace and we can turn that into results sooner rather than later.
I got turned around three times this weekend. Take that out of the equation and we could definitely be in the top ten in the points.
I'm very excited to be with this team. It's great to get a result like that in the first round and, with a bit of luck, we should be able to spray some champagne ourselves."
