Lockwood Home Hub Support

The Lockwood Home Hub allows you to access multiple Lockwood smart home devices from wherever you are. Monitor the status of your home, lock or unlock and more using your Lockwood Home App from anywhere. The Lockwood Home Hub allows your Lockwood smart home devices to work with Amazon Alexa, Google Home and more.*

The Lockwood Home Hub supports up to 16 Bluetooth (BLE) and 30 Zigbee Lockwood smart home devices.

If you have more than 10 devices linked to the Lockwood Home Hub, you may see a slight impact to response time.

The Lockwood Home Hub can connect to 802.11b/g/n (2.4 GHz only) Wi-Fi networks. Please make sure your Wi-Fi router broadcasts a 2.4 GHz network.

In the event of an internet outage, you will only be able to access your devices over Bluetooth within range. Remote access will not be available. Once internet is available again, the Lockwood Home Hub will automatically reconnect to the internet.

The Lockwood Home Hub does not come with a backup power source. In the event of a power outage, you will only be able to access your devices over Bluetooth when within range. Remote access will not be available.

Provided you are connected to the internet, you can control your devices from anywhere using your smartphone, without needing to be connected to the Wi-Fi network linked to the Lockwood Home Hub.

 Put your smart device into pairing mode (refer to its user guide), then open the Lockwood Home App, navigate to device management, and follow the in-app instructions to add it to the Hub.

Yes. When integrated with a smart home system, the Lockwood Home Hub can trigger other devices — such as lights or alarms — when your lock is accessed. It also supports scenes and automation through compatible smart home platforms.

 Yes. You can set up text or email alerts to be notified when your door is accessed — useful for knowing when family members arrive home.

You may need to update your Lockwood Home Hub to the latest firmware version to enable Bluetooth connectivity to your other Lockwood smart devices. To do so, follow these steps:

1. Select your Keychain in the Lockwood Home App
2. Swipe left or right to get to your Hub home screen, then select Update
3. Click Update and follow the in-app prompts

The Lockwood Home Hub has three LED indicators on the front of the device:

LED 1 — Power

• Solid LED = Hub is powered on
• Slow flash LED = Hub is searching for sub-devices
• No LED = Hub is powered off

LED 2 — Wi-Fi Connection

• Solid LED = Hub is connected to Wi-Fi router
• Slow flash LED = Hub is in Wi-Fi connect mode
• Fast flash LED = Firmware is being updated
• No LED = Hub cannot connect to Wi-Fi router

LED 3 — Server Connection

• Solid LED = Hub is connected to Lockwood Home Server but there is no data being communicated at the time
• Slow flash LED = Hub is communicating with Lockwood Home Server
• No LED = Hub cannot connect to Lockwood Home Server

Note: if all 3 LEDs blink consecutively, the Hub is currently undergoing a factory reset.

You will still be able to change your Hub's settings within Bluetooth range, using the Lockwood Home App. Please ensure your new Wi-Fi router broadcasts a 2.4 GHz network. Follow these steps:

1. Select your Keychain in the Lockwood Home App
2. Select House Settings
3. Select Hub Settings
4. Select Network Settings
5. Select Wi-Fi Network
6. Click Continue and follow the in-app instructions

Nothing will happen for a short press (less than 5 seconds). However, a long press (more than 5 seconds) will disconnect your Hub from your Wi-Fi router. To fix this, reconnect the Hub to your router by opening the Lockwood Home App and going to "Hub Settings" → "Network Settings" in the Utilities section → "Wi-Fi Network", then following the in-app instructions.
